tHE MONTHLY CHALLENGE AT ji

 So this month SPONSOR WILL BE OUR Kelly ,Who will put together a goody bag for one lucky winner! It will comprise of papers, flowers, ribbons, embellishments of all sorts and a stamp or 2!

So what do you need to do?  Simply make a card following the theme and link up!

As this is going to be monthly, the rules are as follows:

I will allow 4 entries!

You can combine as many other challenges as you like

Any entry that does not link back to us will NOT count.

The challenge  was meant to run from the 1st of each month  to the last day of the month, in this case the 31st 19:30pm GMT So you are allowed to link anything from the 1st of October!

So the theme? Well we couldn't decide whether to do Halloween or Pink being as it is breast awareness month so we thought we would let you choose!

So this is my card for the challenge gone with a Halloween Card

 

 

 

So this is bat girl & you can get her from a shop called fairy craft which is here.

I have used some of my flexmarkers & paints to colour her. Cut out using a gold spellbinder die, gone around the edges with a purple distress ink. The cool bat background I did on my Silhouette in the purple & added the black so it pop out. To finish just added the sentiment in the same purple.

So I have gone with autumn colours for this card. Nice & bright!!! I have coloured the girl with shades of orange & added a orange & gold gel pen. Cut her out with a spellbinder die & ink around the edges. The background was made with a mask that I have just ink through using the same ink. The extras are the 3 butterflies & sentiment which I have added crystal glitter to.

New Stamp n Doodle challenge

So this weeks Challenge is: 

'Boy's and their Toy's'

 

 

 

So has the theme is boys & toys I have gone with this digi which is new in the shop now.

 

Coloured him with promarkers & layered on to a denim blue plate. All this on to a star backing & added the boarder & button. A nice bright card for any little kid!!

'PINK'

not only is October is a special month for breast cancer but it is also our 4th birthday here at LC's, and we are very proud that we are still here offering you some great challenges. 

I thought I would make a challenge for you to make something for someone special for this challenge. 

You can of course make anything you want but we do want the main predominant colour to be PINK, it doesn't necessarily have to have anything to do with the breast cancer month it can just be for a special birthday, anniversary etc. 

 

 

So this is my card for this wonderful challenge today!!

 

 

 

So I have used Melissa which you can get from the fairycraft shop.

 

So has the challenge say use PINK!!

 

So I have coloured her with promarkers & gel pens all in shades of pink! Cut her out with a gold spellbinder die & distress the edges with a pink ink. Then used the next layer in a dark pink. The background I embossed with a flower mask & using the same distress ink around the edges. To finish I have made a paper rose with a swirl, added some satin ribbon & a stamped sentiment.

New Challenge at Stamping Dragon!!!

The theme for the new challenge is:

 

"Yellow"

Your project can be anything you wish, as long as the MAIN colour in Yellow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

So this is my project for the challenge!!

 

I have used the Folk Art which you can get from the shop here.

 

So has the theme say it mainly Yellow!! I have used a pretty lemon backing with white flowers one. The digi I have coloured in with yellow for the flowers. And you also get the buttons with this image I have paper piece them with lemon stripe paper. Layered on to lemon card & to finish added the faux stitching & a bow.

This is a great one very easy to do.

 

 

Right on to my card for the challenge.

 

 

 

 

How gorgeous are these two, they are from the Pixie corner 1 which you can get from the shop here.

 

So I have used 2 of the fairies for this project & coloured them with copic pens in pinks & lilac's. Made the butterfly background using my silhouette machine. Then added the roses in lilac & hot pink. To finish stamp a sentiment , lilac ribbon & pearl hat pins.

new challenge at JI

So on with our new challenge and the theme is

Metal Embellishments

that means you must use a metal embellishment on your project somewhere to be able to enter into this challenge. A floral image is fine.

 

 

I know it say metal embellishment but I didn't have any so I have used lot of grey in the picture & silver mirror on the backing. Colour this picture in with my new copic & then on to a scary night sky!!!
