New challenge ove at Craftymess

 

I'm back had to take some time off!.

 

So the challenge over at Craftymess is mine challenge which is

We were luck y to be able to use some of her Halloween dig for the challenge.

 

 

 

 

So the kids our going to a Halloween party this year & I was ask to make some deco for it. So using all the digi coloured in with my promarkers then added a dark green background make them in to a spooky banner!!!

So I've gone for the birdcage which you can buy from here.

 

I have just made a very simple card used a grey textile card base,then using black lace from my cap2,added the image on to white card & added pink lace with the pearls around the corners. Also added sliver on the birdcage & the sentiment to finish.

So I have gone for the more aged look!!

Stamp out the image & using whisper pens water coloured. Then old to light brown paper,which I have added distress ink around the edges. To finish with added the flowers,red rose & the satin red bow.

So I made a background paper with my cap Then added the unicorn which i have coloured in with whisper pens & a silver gel pen. Did my faux stitching around all the edges & one of my paper flowers to finish.

Today we are having a challenge that requires you to make something that's not a card...

The theme is ...

'Make a Gift - Anything but a card'

This means we don't want to see any cards this time, we want you to make something that you would give as the main gift.

This can be for Christmas, Halloween, Birthdays, Christenings, etc....the choice is yours, you can produce anything as long as its not a card. This is not a hard challenge but may require you to think for a few moments. There are lots of things that you can make, altered books, notebooks, gift jars, gift boxes, altered candles.....etc.

 

 

So had a think what could I make instead of a card, So went for a name plate for a boy's door!! I love this image Georgina Giraffe which you can get from here.

 

So I have flip the image so I have two, coloured her with promarkers then added on to a lemon card added the name & some buttons. A simple idea but a cool present for any little toddler!!

So coloured her with promarkers & then using one of my embossing folder on a purple card then teared the edges & layered on to purple mirror. Then added the purple flowers & sentiment.

SWEETPEA STAMPERS CHALLENGE

SOME GREAT NEWS!!!!

 

THIS BRILLIANT CHALLENGE HAS STARTED UP TODAY!!!

She is gorjuss!!

 Coloured her in with different shades of purples promarkers & a silver pen. Cut her out some a spellbound die & layered on to black card then all on to a very dark purple card. And some of my flowers which have been spray with glitter.
